YUMM-YUMM'S DELI/CAFÉ
Here at Yumm-Yumm's Deli/Café we have been providing a take-away and dining service since May 2006, introducing a delicatessen in Summer 2007. We would like to give you some information about our company and how we aim to provide a service to local businesses like yourselves and your employees.
Take away menu
We provide a varied menu from organic baguettes, sandwiches, ciabattas, toasted paninis, jacket potatoes, fresh soup and potted salads, all available to take away. All of our fillings are made daily with fresh and local ingredients, no additives or preservatives and everything is made fresh to order.
The café
Our café seats 20 people and we have waitress service, so that you can sit and enjoy your time to eat, whether on a lunch break or an afternoon chat over cake and coffee with a friend. Our new menu includes chef's speciality salads, charcuterie, cheese and anti-pasti platters, fresh mussels, fish dishes, rib eye steak ciabattas and Cornish sardines. We are fully licenced, offering a range of ciders, wines, bottled lagers and spirits to enjoy with your meal.
The delicatessen
Many ingredients within our new menu can be found in the delicatessen, including handmade and cave-matured cheddar from Somerset, Spanish and Italian olives, oils and vinegars, chutneys, preserves, local farmed meats and charcuterie selection. We stock local cheeses, organic products, marinades, preserves and gluten free cakes aswell as Isle of Wight Garlic Farm products. You will also find some unusual items such as chilli chocolate with fruit and spices from the South Devon Chilli farm, duck and quail eggs from Coxheath, Cornish sea salt, grilled pumpkin and artichoke hearts, both also found in our salad menu.

Our website keeps you up to date on our new menus, delicatessen
products, newsletters and outside catering services. You will
soon be able to purchase a variety of our delicatessen products
online, so that you can order ingredients, hampers and gifts from
the comfort of your home or office. We are soon to introduce a
weekly delivery service within a ten mile radius of the delicatessen.
Al fresco dining
Maidstone is becoming more continental in its dining approach and we would like to become a part of this new culture. This summer, possible traffic restrictions to Rose Yard will enable us to provide extra seating outside for 20 to 30 people, so that you can enjoy your meal out in the fresh air, providing we have the weather.
The bistro
Opening soon, Yumm-Yumm's Bistro will seat 20 people in our upstairs restaurant, found above the delicatessen. With a relaxed and cosy atmosphere and decorated in soft colours with modern fabrics and plants, you will be able to enjoy an evening meal in an ideal venue to eat before watching a show at the Hazlitt Theatre. 10% discount will be offered to customers with a valid theatre ticket. Close to the river medway and not far from the South coast, we source a lot of our seafood from Kent and surrounding areas, to offer you a local flavour.
Meeting room hire
Our upstairs bistro will also be available to hire for work meetings and functions, providing comfortable seating for 20 of your staff or business colleagues, also ideal for staff training. We have a plasma screen available for powerpoint presentations to assist your meeting or training requirements. Please ask for more details of rates and availability. We will be happy to provide buffets and refreshments at a reasonable cost and regular booking discounts may also apply.
Hazlitt coffee lounge
We have recently opened a coffee lounge within the new Hazlitt Arts Centre, also in Rose Yard, providing more traditionally English products and meals, such as toasted tea cakes, scones served with jam and clotted cream, Wiltshire ham and cheese bloomer sandwiches, locally pressed apple juice and hand-cooked kettle crisps. An ideal place to meet friends for a coffee or lunch before attending one of the many events within the arts centre and theatre.
Local business discounts and loyalty
scheme
We are keen to gain loyal customers from local businesses such as yours and with this in mind we have developed a discount loyalty scheme. Using a unique card that may be issued to your employees, we can swipe the card whenever they shop or eat at Yumm-Yumm's and gain loyalty points, which then can be used as a discount on future transactions. The card may also be topped up with credit to use in the shop or café. The scheme may also be used to gain your company loyalty points, in return for an annual gift from us, as a thank you for your continued custom.
Telephone ordering
We understand that the local workforce have limited time to enjoy
satisfying and nutritious snacks and meals. With that in mind,
our telephone ordering service is available from 9am to 4pm Monday
to Friday, so that you and your employees may call us and order
food and drinks to collect, often to enjoy back at the office
or staff rest room. We do ask that a minimum of 30 minutes notice
is given for collection, this may be more during busy times. You
and your staff can telephone us on 01622 688959
to order take away refreshments for collection. We do not currently
offer a delivery service.
